Chapter 2 · August-October 2026 · up next
The Texas State Championship
Starting a round down. Four rounds, the all-regions Shootout, and the Final at Oak Hill. Same goal, harder math.
The storyline
Reid starts a round down. Round one ran August 15-16 at 3 Palms while the road trip was still out in the Southeast, so his championship begins at round two: Iron Dog in New Ulm. From there it is the all-regions Shootout at Rafter S with double points on the line, Murphy's in Red Rock, and back to 3 Palms to close the regular rounds. Between races it is training, bike work, and film review with Kyle Swanson. Then every region collides at the State Championship Final at Oak Hill MX in Decatur: double points, one weekend, and the podium settled on the track. Giving up a round makes the math harder. That is the trade.
