Iron Dog, Rafter S, and Murphy's: the results, the setbacks, and the decision to focus on Mini O's.
The storyline
Reid raced Iron Dog on August 30, Rafter S on September 5, and Murphy's on September 20. An engine failure cut the Iron Dog weekend short and led to the move to EBR Performance as his race team. It was disappointing, but mechanical failures are part of racing: accept the reality, move forward, and get ready for the next race. At Rafter S he finished fourth in both 250cc C and 450cc C. Murphy's brought second in Schoolboy 2 and third in 250cc C. After Ponca City, Reid will skip the remaining Texas Championship events and spend seven weeks training with Kyle Swanson at Southern Training Facility before Mini O's.
